Best Hotels in Wroclaw, Poland
Are you looking for the best hotels in Wroclaw, Poland?
Wroclaw is a charming city in Poland, the third largest in the country after Warsaw and Krakow. It’s a university city, giving it a youthful atmosphere. Wroclaw is also known for its beautiful Old Town (much of which had to be constructed after the destruction of World War II) and historic Cathedral Island.
The name of Wroclaw is pronounced “vrohtz-wahf” in Polish and not “roh-claw” as you might expect.
Here are some of the best things to do in Wroclaw:
- Explore the Old Town of Wroclaw, including the Market Square
- Go inside Wroclaw’s Old Town Hall which houses an interesting museum
- Take an electric buggy tour of the city to get an overview of Wroclaw
- Hunt for the Wroclaw Dwarfs, small metal statues that have popped up all over the city — there are at least 600 of them and they are a delight to discover as you explore Wroclaw!
- Visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and climb the bell tower for amazing views
- Enjoy a food tour and try delicious traditional Polish food
And now let’s talk about the best hotels in Wroclaw, Poland for your stay.
Where to Stay in Wroclaw
I recommend staying in or close to Wroclaw’s Old Town for your trip. Most of the hotels I am going to talk about below are within a five-minute walk of the Old Town, or located inside of it.
I visited Wroclaw in December, and the Old Town is where the city’s Christmas markets take place. Wroclaw’s Christmas markets are the best in Poland and some of the best in Europe in my opinion.
This is the perfect location for exploring all the Wroclaw has to offer. It’s a pretty compact city that is very walkable, so you probably won’t have much need for public transportation here.
Here are my top four picks for where to stay in Wroclaw, Poland:
- Best luxury: AC Hotel by Marriott Wroclaw
- Best mid-range: Europeum Hotel
- Best budget: Hotel Jazz Market Square Wroclaw
