I just returned from a trip to Egypt and I have to say that one of the highlights of my entire time there was staying in a fabulous hotel that overlooked the pyramids at the start of my trip!
There’s truly nothing like seeing the Pyramids of Giza out your window or over breakfast.
There are tons of hotels in Cairo that offer pyramid views. Most of these are located around the Giza Plateau, which is a complex where you’ll find the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx.

Where to Stay for Pyramid Views in Cairo
As I mentioned, there are lots of options to choose from when it comes to pyramid view hotels in Cairo. I personally stayed at Marriott Mena House, and this hotel would be my number one recommendation!
The hotel is located closer than any other hotel to the pyramids — it’s literally inside the entrance! It’s a five-star luxury hotel with lots of amenities, including a swimming pool, hot tub, and spa.
Not all rooms have pyramid views (you’ll have to pay extra for that!) but you can see the pyramids walking around the beautiful grounds of the hotel and from the hotel restaurant where breakfast is served. So even if your room doesn’t face the pyramids, you’ll be able to soak in plenty of incredible views.
It’s one of the few true luxury hotels close to the pyramids. Most of the other options are much more basic, but very affordable. It all depends what you’re looking for and how much you’re willing to spend, but if you have the chance to stay at the Marriott Mena House, I cannot recommend it enough.

Marriott Mena House
As I mentioned, this is where I stayed in Cairo and I absolutely loved it! This was one of the most memorable hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life, and I couldn’t get over the views of the Pyramids of Giza.
Marriott Mena House offers luxurious guest rooms and amenities like a heated swimming pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, and a spa. The landscaped grounds and gardens are beautiful and provide stunning views of the pyramids, along with the restaurant, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo
Another one of the best luxury hotels with pyramid views is Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo. While I did not stay at this particular hotel, I did stay at another Steigenberger hotel in Downtown Cairo at the end of my trip, and I really enjoyed it. So it’s safe to say that this is also a good option for your trip to Cairo.
This is a more affordable luxury hotel and offers great value for your money. Amenities include a swimming pool (which also has pyramid views!) and a free buffet breakfast every morning.

Guardian Guest House
Moving away from luxury hotels, Guardian Guest House is a great budget-friendly hotel with pyramid views. This hotel is simple yet comfortable, and some rooms have direct views of the pyramids.
You can also see the Sphinx from this hotel, which is really cool! There’s a rooftop terrace with amazing views. The hotel offers a complimentary Egyptian breakfast and can help with arranging tours.

Jimmy Pyramids View is another affordable hotel overlooking the Pyramids of Giza. This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the pyramids. Some rooms overlook the pyramids and have balconies.
