Are you looking for the best hotels within walking distance of Disneyland?

I just got back from a trip to California where I spent two days and two nights staying in Anaheim to visit Disneyland, and it was very important to me to choose a hotel within walking distance.

Unlike Disney World in Florida, which is a lot more spread out, Disneyland is more compact and located right in the city of Anaheim, so there are quite a few hotels nearby within walking distance.

While I would have loved to stay at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, or Pixar Place Hotel (the three on-site hotels at Disneyland), these were all $550+ per night.

And since I knew I’d barely be in the room anyway, I didn’t want to spend that much. Luckily, there are plenty of cheaper off-site hotels that are less than a 20-minute walk from Disneyalnd.

Where to Stay Near Disneyland

I ended up staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Anaheim, which was a 15-minute walk from the entrance of Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney.

And honestly, I would not recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed at several Four Points by Sheraton hotels and this was by far the worst. Aside from the convenient location, I don’t have many positive things to say about this hotel. It was extremely worn out and dated, not to mention very noisy at night.

The Westin Anaheim Resort is one of the best luxury hotels near Disneyland if you’re looking for a nice place to stay. This hotel is a 20-minute walk from the entrance to the theme parks.

It’s a great place to stay if you want to be convenient to the parks, and you can see Disneyland’s nighttime fireworks from many of the rooms. There’s a swimming pool and a fitness center too.

Part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, SunCoast Hotel Anaheim is another nice property that is an easy walk to Disneyland. You can reach the park entrance in under 15 minutes on foot from here.
