Since Ljubljana is so small, you really only need two days in the city. I recommend spending the rest of your time in Slovenia exploring other destinations, such as the picture-perfect Lake Bled.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the hotel where I stayed (Antiq Palace Hotel & Spa) because it was actually the worst place I stayed on a two-month trip to Europe. I highly recommend staying in Ljublana’s Old Town because it’s the heart of the city and you’ll be just a short walk away from everything. Even outside the Old Town, Ljubljana is quite small and walkable.
